If you think racism isn’t here in Barry or in the Vale of Glamorgan, we’d invite you to listen to the people who have personally experienced racism here.
From a child as young as 8, we listened to their stories today in King Square at the Black Lives Matter demonstration and stood in solidarity with them. Community is powerful.
We’re feeling really proud to have been part of such a well organised, socially distanced and peaceful demonstration today.
This is just the start. ‘If you’re not a racist, show it today, and tomorrow and the next day’
